I managed to stuff 12v up the wrong way on the 12v sockets - and amongst other things that stuffed the wipers and a lot of other things - new CCJ module required which has to be coded to the car by JLR.
Jumper wiring is a possibility, but not sure how you would integrate it in. Not easy I guess.

Re: Another air conditioning issue
I'm afraid I can't help as I never had an issue with my aircon apart from the compressor failed due to a hole in a pipe.
Not sure where you are but there are some good independents about the country .

Re: Black smoke disco 3
Black smoke basically means the mixture is wrong - so either the turbo is goosed, the boost hose is split or the HP pump is knackered.
The cheap and simple option is the hose - it should be pretty obvious if it has gone as you should see it.

Re: Park brake fault - won't apply
Is it a manual? I assume it is as you have auto apply (Which auto's can do but not as standard from the factory) You could always bypass the auto handbrake until you get home (I think you hold it down when turning the ignition off?) and just leave it in gear when you stop. But I'm afraid I don't kno...

Re: Replacement Euro3 engine fitted now ECU Fuel pressure problem
I'm not sure how much that is relevant - the block is essentially the same for EU3 and EU4 engines - but if they mixed the ancillaries - so different parts from EU3 and EU4 that could cause issues possibly. But sounds like they are clutching at straws TBH.

Re: Gearbox fault
It might be as simple as the gear linkage under the car needs to be lubricated. Was certainly a common issue on the D3 - but depends if yours is a 6 or 8 speed - 6 sped then definitely worth a few minutes under the car.

Re: I replaced the EGR valve now I’ve got a PO406
2009 is the later model and the EGR's also need a firmware patch to delete from there too - Don't know where you are off hand, but Bodsy can sort it for you if you can't do it your self.
