Re: New Member Bicycle repairman

Hi BR,
Welcome.

I haven't been active in a few years, but thought I'd check back in and see what's shakin'.

Re: Star Wars (No Spoilers)

Now that I have seen it twice, I have to say, it was just all right. It wasn't a bad film taken on its own and nowhere near as bad as the the last 3 that were made, but they still don't really get the bad guys quite right. Darth Vader in Episodes 4-6 was going to be hard to top, and still is. That b...

Re: Star Wars (No Spoilers)

Saw it last night with Anita, and going to see it tonight with Anya (not because I liked it so much, but Anya decided she wanted to see it too, and she's the babysitter) Anyway, Yep definitely derivative of A New Hope, but it was a lot of fun and had that real JJ Abrams epic Sci Fi feel to it. Re: What have you done to your D3 this week?

Alternator was dying on me, got it changed out today by Elliott Engineering.

Whilst waiting, he told me he had a bike shop. Went next door and there were loads of vintage (and less vintage) motorcycles of British make. Like a little museum with more than 50 bikes in it. Way cool.

Re: Star Wars (No Spoilers)

Seeing it tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. I remember queueing around the block at a shopping centre in Puerto Rico with my dad and my brother to see a version with Spanish subtitles. Re: Happy Birthday JamesG

Did I miss something? I've been completely out of it with the work; I was starting to drift off at 10pm over dinner. Very knackered of late.

Re: GMT

Sorry, I like to see the sun just overhead at 12 noon every day.

And I don't see why the entire populace has to be given a dose of jet lag twice a year just to save on employers' lighting bills.

Re: Official-France stinks...!

It's never too early but may be to late. When I workd in Munich we started the day with a Weissbier and a Brezel, it's was hard at the beginning but you get used to.... My HR director in Frankfurt told me that the US-owned company tried to put an end to serving beer in the canteen in the mo...
