As per the title, just done mine so here is a how to for the benefit of others!
Firstly you will need to remove the engine cover, remember to remove the oil filler cap to do this.
Once the engine cover is remove you will see this:

The map sensor is the part circled in black, to remove,
Disconnect the electrical connector ( not essential) then unscrew and remove the Torq screw (T25), this will allow you to gently but firmly lift the sensor upwards and remove to reveal how much crud has built up, or not. Mine was quite dirty.

Clean the sensor with electrical contact cleaner and some kitchen roll or alike, once clean should look like this;

To refit the sensor just reverse the removal process.
Job done :thumbright:
It has been said that by cleaning the MAP sensor it can improve the acceleration, MPG's, but nothing to back this up from me as I've only just carried this out for the first time. :shark:

Its actually mine - EGR's are blanked as you can see by the stainless plates on the inlet.

And only a V6 :cry:

Very good guide! :thumbright:

Allow me: Above all, do not insert anything into the hole of the sensor, do not perforate the "sensor"... ;)
