Nice clear guide, well done and good advice from Marco too. Just wondering though how you would manage to clear out crud from the sensor 'hole' without poking something into it!!

Careful use of an electrical spray cleaner would be my suggestion.
My new engine was blanked (As the old one was blanked too) so the MAP sensor has never had to deal with carp. I've not looked, but it should be nice and clean still.

got round to doing mine this evening. Don't think its ever been cleaned before but it wasn't too bad compared to others :
1) pre clean
2) cleaned
test drive tomorrow and hopefully no faults occur !

This is mine after nearly 40k in the new engine - and however long it was in the old one post EGR blanking.
Its just got a bit of oil on it, but wiped off easily enough.
