Hampshire Spectacular?!?!?!

Got an idea for an event, want to see an event run that is currently run. Any discussions prior to an event being launched as an official event should go in here.

Thought last year was cracking all round Stu. Same as Kingmuff the punches were a pig to find, so similar but slightly different, maybe clues at bases for the next punch or something?

Really enjoyed the driving games :thumbright:
Oh and the winching demonstrations

Will have a 30second caravan this year, instead of the 30 second tent lol.

I was thinking that everyone gets a list of grid refs, then go find them. But every list is in a different order :thumbright:

The problem with Hampshire (Apart from being South ;) ) is that it was so good, it will be hard to beat or even match. And similar events up in the real part of the country (Or North to Stu) will always be second best.

But back to the point. Loved it. Lanes were great - a bit tight, but I have less issues than most so quite acceptable to me.

I do have some contact details for booking them, but they are MOD and it almost seems to be a case of, if you're on the approved list, then you can use it.

We've never booked any of these sites in our own right as we have always used TV4x4 to book them and do marshaling for us. I'm sure we could do the same again, but it should be cheaper and easier for us to do it ourselves.
TV would charge us around £800 for a solo day.

That's the sort of cost for Buildwas too. Makes it a non starter for day.

That would work out as £40 per car if we had 20 cars - that doesn't sound awful if the site is particularly good does it?

I wouldn't want to use Buildwas in this weather, but great once it dries up a little.
