Ronnie Sunshines Grand Opening 24th June 2012

Post by Stu » Sun Jun 24, 2012 8:17 pm

It took him about 2 hours for his hearing to adjust and he only just stopped shaking when he was about to get back in for the home journey.

As for purchases:

2 x Axes
5 x knives (various)
1 x Dutch oven

:-)

I didnt make use of the right arm rest on the way down as it was tipping it down! Was fine on the way back. Although max was moaning that the car was too loud! Lol.

Another axe, Dutch oven bag and a couple of thermal mugs.

We didn't really expect to get much in the way of membership, but there were plenty of people coming over for a chat about the cars and a few d3's in the car park as well as the local off road rep for the local constabulary :thumbright:

Was a really enjoyable day and great to have a play with a few toys whilst there ;-)

Congrats to Ronnie Sunshines (David) as the extended shop and particularly the new rifle range and airsoft sections are awesome.
I can see great kids parties there (and for the not so little kids too!) :thumbright:

Truely something for everyone and some great demonstrations and vintage ice cream van was a real treat.

Great to see the suprise addition of Nick in his d3 and thanks to everyone for coming and representing the club in such a positive way. Especially to Badgerade who still came along without his d3.

Cheers all, a great day. :thumbright:

We had some really heavy showers pass through today, so glad we had that big gazebo thing to shelter under, defiantly a good call there guys.. :thumbright:
I purchased a water purifier for my eldest lad who's off to Mongolia in 2 weeks time..
Excellent breakfast meet, surprise visit by Nick and the lovely Maureen and great company as always... :thumbright:

PS....Very impressed with the accuracy of your crossbow Max.... :bond:
