Hi,
My D3 has a tendency to sit down after parking, but this is quite random. It doesn't always do it but more often than not.
More often the rear on its own it seems.
Sometimes it will happen as I walk away from it, other times a while later.
It will happen on both flat or uneven ground.
Is this normal for these cars or do I have a problem? The pump has recently been re-built so I`m guessing its not that. I am also assuming its not a leak as it is not a gradual deflation as I occasionally hear a pssst sound when it happens as the car drops within a second or so.
Suspension sit down.

Ah the 'disco fart' - IIRC it's no more than it self levelling and getting itself nice and comfortable.
Drink, arse, girls, feck!

This I can understand on uneven ground and is quite normal for the system to be active for about 3 minutes after shut down, but there would be no reason for the self levelling to drop the car when on a level surface.

Re: Suspension sit down.
Is it level in all planes? My drive is level across but has a slight downward slope - the D3 levels either at the front or back depending which way it's parked. Out on the road it doesn't.
The test would be to park in a set number of places on a number of occasions and see if it settles.
