D3. My mistake, force of habit as I have been a D2 owner for many years. I will correct. Cheers for pointing it out.

What is this CCF you mention?

Car Configuration File.

It's what the Nanocom alters when you make a change.

Not so easy with the current diagnostic tools, but it was relatively easy to "brick" the car in the past with an incorrect setting - or even corruption under certain circumstances, like battery voltage for example.

Ive kind of given up with the Nanocom as I was having trouble getting it to read anything past the BCU on the list. I wrote to BBS who seemed to just give me some BS excuses. I now have some dealer level software that has no problems communicating with everything. My only issue with that is understanding & finding my way around the mass of info it provides. I did however find how to re-calibrate for different wheel/tyre size which was quite easy & trouble free.
I guess with the response I got from BBS that I would be wasting my time asking for the £300 back. I was robbed & would not advise anyone else to buy it. It was fantastic for the TD5 but I guess this CanBus is beyond them.
