Yes, changed engine in 2012 at 101,000 miles. Done 30,000 in the last 12 months.

Staying with the existing one they said it is a identical part to to new beefed up version. They are very aware of it as they have had it happen to a car they changed the belts on. Showed me the broken one and the new one. Have been very impressed with there service so far have got a nice little yellow Freelander 1 curtesy car
