I shall probably document it as I do it :thumbright:

I did this today. Not much to document really.

Parts required:

1No. YMQ503220 per corner. About £25 from Landrover - my dealer keeps them in stock.
Insulation Tape.

Tools:
Side Cutters,
Strippers.
Crimper
Heatgun/soldering iron for the heat shrink.

Method:

1. Cut the old wires at a suitable place and discard with old plug.

2. Strip the three wires back.
3. Crimp the crimps on the cables - I did the ones on the vehicle end first - but each to their own.
4. Check the cable colours - the new ones are different and solid. In my case grey/blue connect to blue, grey/yellow connects to red and grey/red connects to yellow.
5. I slipped some additional heatshrink over all three cables to offer some protection at the plug.
6. Slip the provided heat shrink over the individual cores.
7. Chrimp each cable from the plug to the previsously crimped wires, making sure the colours are correct.
8. I then taped up the resulting joint - its not pretty and I couldn't find any black tape, but its fine.
9. Using the provided cable tie/clip, tie the cables to the suspension strut.

Bit of a thread resurrection here but I've had the following codes thrown up in recent days:

ABS-Brake Module
U0421-68 (2B) Invalid data received from ride level control module - Algorithm based failure - event information
( on 23-11-2017 14:44:29 at 117470 mi )

RLM-Suspension
C1A20-64 (AF) Pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir - Algorithm based failure - signal plausibility failure
( on 23-11-2017 14:44:29 at 117470 mi )

It's an AMK compressor and I'm going to take a look tomorrow hopefully but, QQ for now, do these two faults go hand-in-hand? Will U0421 almost always throw up when C1A20 does?

Possible, but I almost always ignored the U codes

Had the cover off this morning and was confronted by almost an inch think of Salisbury's finest. Gave it all a good clear out, the cover a wash down and put it back together. No faults recorded after the test drive, so wonder if it was getting over-heated???

If you click on them to look at them full size, then they are displayed the way they should be based on the metadata :thumbright:

Well, just completed a 15-20 mile trip and the fault is back, so more sinister than had hoped. :headbang:

Time to see if the new MotorEasy warranty is worth the money.
