Our Swift Conqueror
Well, I thought that I would post up a pic as 'vans do not seem to be taboo round this bit of the interweb. Second pic is to reinforce the all year round ability, I do have pics in deepish snow somewhere too but cant find them. Its a 2009 and we have already notched up at least 60 days away - stick yer foreign holidays you know where

Re: Our Swift Conqueror
Is that the Alu-tech body?

Nah, normal wood, glue and some screws. Swift are bringing out the rival to alu tech today starting with the posh models then it will work its way down the range I expect like Bailey did - Sods, its like buying a D3 then they announce the D4 (although I have had the use of mine for a year)

Bailey brought them out last year though, not keen at the time myself though, I didnt want to be a beta tester.

Re: Our Swift Conqueror
The interior IMHO was awlfull TBH... didnt seem worth the money. Also I've been told the Alu on the front keeps getting dinged by road stones
Nice van!

Nice van, I like the silver sides.
I wouldn't buy a Alu Tech at the moment, there are a lot of issue's (already) and Bailey seem to be ignoring them and the complaints from customers. If problems occur already on them, I wonder what will happen long term.

Re: Our Swift Conqueror
I agree, its a lot of money to suddenly have the front peppered with dents, they will get revised and revert to a GRP front perhaps and then be called gralu tech.
Neils opinion on the interior of the new Baileys is slightly more tame than the missus version.
The silver sides on mine are quite strange in truth, there does not seem to be any metalic fleck in it, but doesnt look grey either. Looks clean still after a 250 mile trip on winter roads, just gotta wipe the front off so that'll do me
