Uploading Pictures with iPhones

If you upload a picture with an iPhone it can sometimes be the wrong orientation.
I've done some tests and if you add a file from an iPhone/iPad and use the add file button and the option to take a picture, if you hold the phone in landscape and with the shutter button to the right, then the orientation is correct.
