Its not law yet, they are apparently trying to make it so from the 1st July, but is not actually in place yet. A technicality perhaps. :rasp:

Derek, if I want proper screenwash go to your nearest Wurth stockist - they do 5 litres for £11 that neat works down to minus 63! The clue is probably the huge red flammable sticker on the side :o

On Friday was up in Inverness and the Autosave branch do Comma (i think) stuff in 20ltr containers for £33, good down to -23. At 1:4 (for my standard running mix down to -9c) works out at 41ppl so might get that instead. It's not the "down to" temp I go by, it's the cost to get to -9c but the ability to rich it up a good bit to lower temps. It's prob reduced coz spring has sprung (NOT tempting fate by taking the winters off  ). Forgot about that when I typed above. :thumbright:

PS Yep, this is the stuff. £50 on amazon.

Costco do 5 litres of screen wash down to -36 or so (used neat) for 4 quid! I think it's Holts from memory.

I still don't understand the point in carrying them? Will the police ask you to use yours to breathalyse you at the roadside? :?
