What would you have done if the tree didn't budge and the car started going up in the air :o

What do you do with all the wood you chop down? Charcoal company? Firewood? Where do you take it?

NO I HAVE NOT GOT A CARAVAN!!!!!!!

to answer your question re d3 moving and tree staying put,,

not actually pulling much weight at that point,, it's just about getting it past the balance point,, the cuts are good and the tree should go that way on it's own,,, the winch was used on this occasion so that the owner of the house had piece of mind that the tree was not going towards her house,,

the reason we were there was the sister tree went through the roof of the house a week or so back, it had a disease in the stem,,this one was the same so had to come down,,, the middle 12" of the stem was rotten through,,

next time i'll be sure to shout,, just for you..

bodsy,, re wood,, i'll be taking a good few trailer loads of that home,,, i then season it., (salt and pepper), split it and sell..

i sell only free range logs, none from farms, all tree surgery waste so good recycling,,

Are you anywhere near EX13 7PZ ?
