might be interested in some of these :

one question though (sorry if its been asked/answered)

Q) if the rods can be adjusted to "extreme" and this is equivilant to "super extended", what happens when the suspension goes into "super extended" mode when the "extreme" is set. This would be equivilant of "super, super, super extended"
what is the effect on the other suspension parts, propshafts, brake hoses etc.

Cheers :thumbright:

Questions were asked earlier in the thread as a 2 1/2" lift is a little more than the usual with rods, 2" being the norm.

The 2 1/2" lift was discussed at the prototype stage and may have been changed. The option is there to drill additional holes to tailor the rods to the length desired.

Brake hoses should not be an issue in the same way as a with Defender due to the differences between live & independent suspension linkage points.

Due care will need to be taken if the car goes into extended or super extended to prevent damage to CV joints etc.

Let's not forget lift rods have been used successfully elsewhere in the world for quite some time. There does not seem to be much in the way of horror stories out there of suspension failures due to lift rods being used.

One issue of note was a suspension link rubbing a hole through an airbag when an extreme lift was used but it was cured by dressing a sharp edge on the link with a grinder, problem solved.

There are a few of us waiting for the arrival of the rods.....

So I am sure some reports will follow soon. :thumbright:

just a thought...might be worth popping some copperslip or some other grease inside before putting them on.
Also, a drop of silicone spray/wd40 helps when fitting.

Same here, awaiting feedback before commiting GNVP, if they are anything like you're previous products then quality will NOT be an issue, just usability is what I am after guys. :thumbright:
