Hi Guys,
I had mine mega flushed a couple of years ago, about 20,000 miles and mine has started doing this surging thing, particularly when under power, I have fitted EGR emulators, could this be a torque converter problem or fuel pump problem?
I await your comments.

How does it feel Paul? In that I mean, does it feel engine or gearbox? If the TC is going, it tends to feel like driving over cobbles - but a mild form I guess could be a surge as the TC locks/unlocks.
Have you got an Iid tool or similar? If so look at the live values on the gearbox for input and output shaft speeds as well as TC lockup status.

Hey Pumba, how's it going??
Doesn't feel like any cobbles, simply when accelerating or trying to hold say 50-70mph on an incline the revs fluctuate and you can feel it surging in speed, like a slight 'rocking' motion, maybe a couple of hundred revs.
I do have an IID, I might have to give you a call to figure out how to read the live values of the gearbox. Whenever I've read the live values I haven't found those readings, or do you get more display when it's in gear and driving? Could look at that tomorrow, get the Mrs to drive and I'll look at my tool (Oh ER Missus)
On a side note, the weather is very warm, don't you think??

Fluctuating revs like you describe sounds like TC - don't leave it as it will take out the rest of the gearbox. How many miles has it done now? Not that mileage makes a difference really!
If you have the bluetooth version, it makes it a lot easier to read the values (Sounds like you do!) - make sure you update the tool to the latest version as it has a lot more values than it did.
