Education.....

Post by Kingmav66 » Sun Jan 05, 2014 10:10 pm

After reading Jason's post referring to people's education, I got thinking about everyone on here and where you might have been secondary educated, what decade and did you enjoy it........
State comprehensive/ State grammar/ Private/ Home-educated..... Edit: I forgot to add Borstall
I went to an all boys state grammar school in the mid to late 80's, I enjoyed my school years :thumbright:

School of life here with minimum qualifications except occupational. Left school at 16yrs old and joined the Army. Served this country well from 1987-2002 in conflicts around the world and enjoying the memories.

Doesn't make me something people have trodden in

Jason it doesn't and the only one that brings up your education is you. You get the :censored: taken out of a heck of a lot less than most on here, bout time you either shut the :censored: up or :censored: off. Don;t like it go somewhere else.

I went to secondary school - the same one that my kids are at now - there is even at least one teacher that is still there

It was from the mid 70's to early 70's, then to 6th form, which I :censored: up and then to Poly. Left full time education in the mid 80's

Jase, Marks comment do not directly call you anything. However I agree with Clem and that we need to keep things friendly.

Please be nice

I'm not part of this, I'm sure after Stu's talking to today that if I had told someone to :censored: off, I'd be gone.....how can a committee member do this. I demand an apology.
