Think my car might as well stay tucked under the snow for another day.

Mine stayed like you see it all day - but I have got the snow off as I'm in preston in the morning.

I’ve just finished clearing both the Transporter and the Mini and the drive (well clear enough!)

Over a foot of snow on them and a two foot drift at the back of the mini!

I keep having to clear a path to the wood store!

This ice is weird; Normally when daytime temps are slightly above freezing, putting salt down melts it in a half hour to a couple of hours or so.
Not so this time; been putting salt down for 2 days on the slope and nothing seems to be melting. Very odd!

A 10% salt solution freezes at -6 - which is why the gritters stop adding salt to the grit when its really cold.

Almost all our snow has gone - our road is just about clear - but what is left is lethal!
