Stripped everything I could get out of Old Bluie. She's looking a bit light on parts.

Only thing I can't get out are the rear lights as I stupidly shut the lower tailgate.  No power and car mostly in pieces, now way am I going to get that open. Unless someone knows how?

I think you need power for that.

It's looking a bit sad. :(

found out you can taken the lights out with the lower tailgate shut. Just needs a long possie screwdriver and a spoon to lever the lights away from the tailgate to get the screwdriver in. Now added to the massive pile of stuff in my car. :thumbright:

Sad to see her down to her rib-cage, and I know you must be feeling gutted too Del, commiserations.
Sad days, but in fairness you don't seem to be leaving much of her behind!

I assume you're deep stripping it to sell bits off?

Just as you drive away I am going to think of the one small, easy to get to piece that I could do with but you have left behind... :headbang:

You won't be the only one!! NoDo$h said badges & beanie the rubber door stops, neither of which I thought about.

Here's what the smooth silky V6 ended up sounding like. Not good, plus metal visible in the oil on the dipstick.

Yes, with some kept for the D4 if common. Glad I kept my old knackered set of ATRs on just to finish them off, she could have had the virtually new set in the garage ready to go on. Unfortunately no good in the D4. :(

How do end up with a small fortune running a D3? Start with a large fortune!!

Only the D4 for me so back to standard servicing and WD warranty cover so no more hefty bills. I hope.
