Re: Bits of Caravan

I'll take the aquaroll (and cover) mark.
We've got one already, but they empty surprisingly quickly!!

Re: Dash camera

I didn't realise my link didn't post. It's the Nextbase 312GW I have. Thoroughly recommend it - someone mentioned about fiddly brackets, but the one I have is a magnet based hookup so couldn't be easier to remove from the mount. The only downside as I think Mark mentioned is the 32GB SD card limit. ...

Re: Interesting times.....

That really sucks! Impossible situation to come out of feeling good as well! Either you further invest with the fear of it being a bottomless pit. You bite the bullet now and look for another equivalent - low mileage D3, cheap (worryingly?) D4 or look further afield. Or you do what I did, decide to ...

Re: Dash camera

I bought one of these for all the commuting I am doing. Thoroughly recommend it, and all the functionality of a blackvue I believe? I'm only running mine on 720p as the cards are limited to 32GB. As I use the software to show work my business miles, I want 8+ hours to be on the card to capture the l...

Re: Discovery Sport as a tug

It is a CC site yes. I was going to ask the question on membership here, but also try and put a group booking through myself (not sure if they would allow that or not?). Don makes a good point though and it would be good to open it open to those who want to camp as well. I'll take a look at some of ...

Re: What have you done to your D3 this week?

Yeah all done. My dad popped round with some significantly better drill bits than I have! He finished the drilling in about 20 minutes and it was a breeze from there. Makes me nervous about the pending front wishbones though. Every bolt I tackled was seized. Thankfully most I had a solid connection ...

Re: Discovery Sport as a tug

Sounds like a plan!

I assume there's nothing more to it than a post in the appropriate section?

Re: Discovery Sport as a tug

Found a decent site which looks pretty central considering the spread of us. https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-sites/england/cotswolds/gloucestershire/cirencester-park-caravan-club-site/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Possible dates could be W/C 29th May, leading into the weekend of...

Discovery Sport as a tug

Yeah Cotswolds should suit all as a central location. I also like the idea of taking another break in the lakes and arranging some decent walks. Cotswold sounds like a good plan as a 1st meet though. I will have a gander through some of the material I have to see if anything jumps out. When is an in...
