Rear Diff Swap

Hello. I have a replacement diff to swap into my D3 and am looking for any tricks or tips that would help? Main questions:- What is the best way to drop the exhaust? Driveshaft removal Refitting - rear or front bolt first Will be getting new bolts for prop and diff, probably also for lower hub. Thanks

Cheers, sadly have tried that, but will give it another go tomorrow. Got it sorted in the end, however the O/S bottom inner bolt won't nip up tight, I think it stripped some of the thread when I removed it. Hopefully it will hold as I really don't want the agro of removing the entire egr to fix it....

I have just spent a delightful couple of hours refitting my egr pipes so the nice MOT man won't have cause to be nasty. Any tips for getting the bottom screw into the top housing near the oil filler cap? :headbang: The pipe doesn't quite line up for some reason so the flange isn't quite square to th...

7 years for me.
